Post Release Services

Post release workers assist children in transitioning into their homes in Colorado and connecting the minor and their families to community resources and adjusting to reunification.

Home Studies

Jaime Janes LCSW, LLC provides home study services to unaccompanied children across the state of Colorado ranging in age from infants to seventeen years old who have entered the country without documents and without their parents. Pre-placement assessments are completed to ensure the safe placement of unaccompanied children in their proposed home.

Training

Jaime Janes LCSW, LLC provides trainings for providers across the state to further their understanding of unaccompanied children and increase service delivery when working with unaccompanied children.

Consulting

Jaime Janes LCSW, LLC will provide consultations to community providers who are working with an unaccompanied child and are looking for additional support and guidance in how to best serve the child.

Human Trafficking

Jaime Janes LCSW, LLC assesses each unaccompanied child for human trafficking. In the event that human trafficking is identified, Hands United will assist the minor in applying for an eligibility letter through the Office on Trafficking in Persons (OTIP) and make appropriate referrals on the child's behalf. 

Internship Placement

Jaime Janes LCSW, LLC serves as a graduate placement for MSW students. Currently Helping Hands is partnered with the University of Denver Graduate School of Social Work.

Jaime Janes LCSW, LLC is contracted to provide international home studies to families living in Colorado.

WhatsApp Support Groups

Jaime Janes LCSW, LLC facilitates a support group of unaccompanied children across the region through WhatsApp video to provide mutual support as unaccompanied children transition into living in the United States.
