Stephanie Guevara Martinez, MSW
Stephanie Martinez is a recent graduate of the University of Denver, Master of Social Work Program. She has over four years of social work experience working with diverse populations. She is working towards a clinical social work license and hopes to provide clinical services to unaccompanied or displaced children in the future. She is a contractor of Jaime Janes, LCSW, LLC and is providing post-release and home study services to unaccompanied children in the states of California & Nevada.
Helen Martinez Purfield, MaEd
Sisi Martinez has a Masters's in Education with an emphasis on bilingual education. She worked as a bilingual teacher for 16 years and has extensive experience working with immigrant families. She is a contractor of Jaime Janes, LCSW, LLC, and is providing post-release and home study services to unaccompanied children in the state of Colorado.
Nicolas Ferreira, BA
Nicolas is a Bilingual Case Manager professional that hold a BA in psychology with 6 years of experience in crisis intervention, trauma inform practices and theory-based interventions with various populations and acuity. Nicolas had the opportunity to work with Unaccompanied Children (UC) in the state of Colorado serving as a vocational specialist for two years in a shelter care program. He is a contractor for Jaime Janes, LCSW, LLC, and is providing post-release and home study services to Unaccompanied Children in the state of Colorado.
Jaime Janes, LCSW
Jaime Janes has more than 20 years of working in the field of social work. She is an independently licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) and has had her own practice and worked with unaccompanied children (UC) in the state of Colorado for over 10 years. She provides post-release and home study services as a contractor of Heartland Alliance and serves as director of Jaime Janes LCSW, LLC. Jaime Janes has served as adjunct faculty at the University of Denver's Graduate School of Social Work for 10 years and developed their immigration & policy course. She has been a part of research projects and presents locally & nationally on unaccompanied children. She also sits as a member on the Colorado State Youth Sub-committee Trafficking Task Force.
Leslie Ana Zavala, MSW
Ana Leslie is a native of Nicaragua and a graduate of Metropolitan State University of Denver, Master of Social Work Program. As a first generation immigrant, Ana understands the struggles that families have when they immigrate to America. Ana has experience working with people from different walks of life. Ana has over 15 years' experience working in the medical field, and currently provides mental health crisis interventions. Ana is a life-long learner and is working towards her clinical social work license and hopes to be able to serve immigrants settle into everyday life in the United States, as they face immigration regulations. Ana is a contractor for Jaime Janes, LCSW, LLC, and is providing post-release and home study services to Unaccompanied Children in the State of Colorado.
